Northern Easter Camp is open to high-school-aged youth (generally 13-18 years old) from youth communities in the Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Gisborne regions.
Parents are responsible for purchasing a ticket for their child and, as part of this, register to attend camp with a local youth community.
Youth communities do all of camp life together including tenting, eating and joining in on the programme and activities. This is to ensure no young person does camp alone - we want all campers to be part of community and looked after by people who know and care for them.
We can get you in touch with the nearest group to you if your child does not already belong to a youth group - their group leader will have a chat with you about how to get your child connected to their group ahead of camp.
When you buy a ticket on our website, you will also fill out a rego form that provides all the details we need to look after you/your child for the 5-day event. You will 'register with a youth group' as part of this process.
The leader of your group will receive your rego, check all the details and send you an approval email. At this point, you/your child is officially registered for camp with your youth community - wahoo!
Tickets have QR codes and are sent out in bulk after each price cut-off period. This is to allow time for all tickets to be checked and approved, and for group leaders to get in touch with you where needed.
What if my child doesn't belong to a youth group?
We can get you in touch with the nearest group to you - their group leader will have a chat with you about how to get your child connected into their youth group ahead of camp. Drop a line to info@easter.camp and let us know where you live.
What if I have multiple children coming to camp?
We have created 'Family Camper' tickets that give you discounted tickets for more than one dependant in the same family. But you need to get your ticket before the 27 February. *conditions apply
What if we have financial difficulties?
We understand that a tickets for a 5-day camp can be out of reach for some families. Please have a chat to your youth leader to see if they have options available for subsidising your ticket costs.
We have tickets but can no longer attend!
Easy - we will refund you the ticket amount less the pull-out. Just contact your youth leader in the first instance and they will take it from there.
When do I get my tickets?
Neither the order confirmation email (from your ticket purchase) and the registration approval email (from your youth leader) suffice as your ticket to camp. Tickets will be sent in bulk after each cutoff period. If you haven't received yours within 10 working days of the cut-off period, please email tickets@easter.camp
How do I know which ticket to buy?
The majority of tickets are Camper tickets. However, if you are attending camp as a group leader or parent help, you will buy a Leader ticket. If you are attending camp as a worker, you will buy a Worker ticket. Child tickets are for children of leaders to attend camp.
